Your Orlando Flex ticket gets you into Wet N' Wild, where you'll find a gigantic and inviting wave pool. When the wave machine comes on, these waves come big, they come fast, and they come non-stop. The lifeguards won't even let you swim in the deepest end because the waves are big and strong enough to drown you.

If you've never been in a wave pool before, it's not going to be what you expect. The waves are seriously strong enough to knock you off balance in the deeper water. Thus the tube. One big advantage is that you'll expend much less effort wading in the pool and staying cool in the warm Florida sun. Another advantage: when the waves hit, you will be one of the few that have access to the deepest end of the pool, where there will be no swimmers. You will only share this area with other tubers.

Swimming is fun, but it takes work. You'll eventually need a rest. In your tube, you can just float wherever the current takes you, and you won't injure anybody when you run into them. The waves aren't strong enough to knock you out of your tube (unless you are horsing around in it). You'll have to wait on a long line, so get there early (you can also get life vests for free). Tubes are great to have if you're planning to spend a lot of time in the pool. Fighting the waving becomes quite a work-out. The wave pool becomes a completely unique experience inside of a tube.
